UNESCO China scholarship

The Government of the People’s Republic of China has placed at the disposal of UNESCO for the academic year 2016-2017, under the co-sponsorship of UNESCO, seventy-five (75) fellowships for advanced studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Level – Undergraduate and postgraduate

Applicants can choose one academic program and three institutions as their preference from the Chinese HEIs

Applicant must hold masters or bachelor’s degree

Amount- Covers tuition fee, accommodation, monthly stipend, medical insurance

Duration – 1 year

Deadline- May 20, 2016

How to apply

The following attachments are required along with application form

  • 3 Photographs
  • Photocopies of diplomas, certificates, transcript
  • Copy of university admissionn letter
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A study or research proposal with no less than 400 words
  • Physical examination form
  • English language proficiency certificate
